How It Works

A TeacherBuilder administrator creates the teacher's account with their TEA ID and initial status. Quality is ensured from day one.
Profile built & availability toggled
The teacher completes their profile — certification area, grade preferences, preferred counties — then toggles on to signal they are actively seeking placement.
Schools and recruiters search
Every verified school admin and recruiter in the network can search the pool by certification, grade level, and availability in real time.
Information request submitted
When a school or recruiter wants to pursue a teacher, they submit a formal, tracked information request — no open access to teacher data.
Admin reviews and approves
A TeacherBuilder administrator reviews every request before any teacher data is shared. Typically within 1–2 business days.
Placement made
Once approved, the school places the teacher — as an intern completing field experience, or as a hired teacher formally employed by the school.
Supervisors evaluate & teachers advance
